Ashviny Jeyamohan is a psychosocial professional with a keen interest in facilitating social development and innovation. She has a Master’s Degree in Applied Psychology from Coventry University, UK, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management.
She has spent the most part of her career implementing community outreach and advocacy projects with various local and international agencies; such as ZOA Netherlands, UNHCR and the Otara Foundation. Additionally, she has worked on corporate projects researching the efficacy of positive psychology in work environments and the optimization of organizational performance by studying employee behavior.
She is also the founder of Atvos Psych—an organization that provides social and personal development programs; and has developed and conducted workshops related to well-being, motivation, team-building, mindfulness and communication skills, whilst also providing psychosocial support to vulnerable groups around Sri Lanka.
Currently, she serves as the program manager at the Sri Lanka Development Journalist Forum (SDJF).
