SDJF Successfully Concludes Its Annual General Meeting 2025

The Sri Lanka Development Journalists Forum (SDJF) successfully held its Annual General Meeting (AGM) on 16 November 2025 at its headquarters in Rajagiriya. The meeting brought together members of the Board of Directors and senior leadership to reflect on the organization’s progress over the past year and to outline its direction for the upcoming period.

The AGM featured a comprehensive review of SDJF’s program achievements, governance updates, and financial performance. Members discussed SDJF’s evolving role in empowering communities through media innovation, digital literacy, and rights-based development initiatives. Strengthening institutional systems, exploring new strategic partnerships, and enhancing sustainability were central themes throughout the session.

As SDJF continues to expand its footprint locally and internationally, the meeting emphasized the importance of innovation, collaboration, and capacity building. The leadership reaffirmed SDJF’s commitment to fostering inclusive dialogue, advancing youth engagement, and championing responsible digital citizenship in Sri Lanka.
