Membership in Our Network


All the permanent employees of the SDJF are dedicated graduates and masters. However, we invite enthusiastic journalists, under – graduates, postgraduate students, PHD readers and academic professions to be members of SDJF. Our aim is to go forward carrying out services by enrolling suitable partners who are committed to achieve our final target. The memberships divide into following categories.

  • 1. Students Membership
  • 2. Journalist members
  • 3. Academic members

Student Membership

Student membership holder must be an under- graduate, post -graduate or PHD reader in the field of media and communications. No membership fee is charged from the student members. This type of membership will be given priority with regard to the training programmes, discussions, seminars and workshops conducted by SDJF and other partner organizations. Members in this category will be given our publications on concessionary rates and allowed to use our library for free of charge. Female members of this category are encouraged for our woman wink.


Journalist membership

Journalist membership is open for the working journalist and trainees of community media institutions and the mainstream media institutions.  A small membership fee is charged from working journalist. This type of membership will be given priority with regard to the training programmes, discussions, seminars and workshops conducted by SDJF and other partner organization.


Academic members

Lecturers of universities, high studies institutions and collages, retired academic professionals and researcher comes under this category. Small amount of membership fee is charged from these professionals. They will be given priority with regard to the training programmes, discussions, seminars and workshops conducted by SDJF. Also, Academic members will be given priority in research activities and panel discussions.
