Gender Justice on Air 1 Gender justice on Air is a series of radio based advocacy and dialogue program produced by Sri Lanka Development Journalists' Forum (SDJF) on various issues that affect women in Sri Lanka. Law and gender discrimination, gender insensitive legal reformations, gender based violence, issues around extreme masculinity, economic empowerment of women in the post conflict setting and women's rights are the major areas covered under this radio campaign. Interviews of affected women, cases of women who were discriminated, debate and dialogue with authorities are also a part of this programme. Silent Smile Radio dramas - 11 Radio drama is a great medium to attract the hearts and minds of the civil society in the process of eliminating violence against women, promoting peace and equality. Sorgame Endraalum CEO/Director of Sri Lanka Development Journalist Forum (SDJF) headed a radio drama project at the final stage of the ethnic war catering the social needs of vulnerable women and internally displaced community by fostering the values of peace, equality voicing over the conflict. Former Radio drama producer of BBC Lucy Hannah trained the pool of Radio drama writers and actors in Sri Lanka in order to enrich the output of this drama. The project was funded and managed by Internews Sri Lanka. The total length of the drama is 32 episodes and each episode is relatively 10 minutes long. . Naadum Veedum Naadum veedum is a series of audio documentaries produced by Sri Lanka Development Journalist Forum (SDJF) for Viluthu Resource centre. The purpose of the documentaries are to mobilise and make the youths from the conflict affected areas aware about various democratic and pluralistic values that could strengthen the process of reconciliation through equality and peace. Many documentaries that were created focussed on the negative impact of the conflict over women, children and marginalized groups.
